AMY FERRIS

Amy Ferris is a writer, editor, author, screenwriter and playwright. As a memoirist, her passion comes down to three words: Write Your Truth. Amy has written for both television 999927_10202868299650725_1771741034_n (2)and film. Both of her screenplays were produced: Funny Valentines (Director, Julie Dash – Daughters of the Dust), and Mr. Wonderful (Anthony Minghella – The English Patient, Cold Mountain, Truly Madly, Deeply).

Her memoir, Marrying George Clooney, Confessions From A Midlife Crisis (Seal Press) was adapted into an Off-Broadway play (2012) and ran for one month at CAP21 Theater. Amy contributes to numerous anthologies, and her essays have appeared in many publications.

Her deepest passion is that all women awaken to their greatness
